Pose in front of the iconic pink door or snap a pic of the décor, including the framed funny puns and inspirational quotes hung up throughout the venue.
Tania Lodi, the genius behind ‘Tania’s Teahouse’ has hit the jackpot with this unique and highly relatable café. Since its opening its had a steady stream of customers that has only grown since and it’s not hard to see why. It’s the ultimate hang out to impress friends and family, with a desert/ coffee bar on the ground level and a bookcase full of books, board games and other treasures to be found.
If you’re like me and 99.9% of the world then tea or coffee is part of your daily diet. If so, have fun choosing from the many blends that are on offer, with quirky names such as; ‘Apple of my Eye,’ ‘Socie-tea Snob’ and ‘Her Majes-tea.’ Of course, the coffees are no less impressive, these insta-worthy cups are fashionable and worth the hype.
If that’s not enough to convince you, it’s one of the handful of places that sells healthy food that is actually delicious. From its chia seed bowls (Chia later, pudding) to their ‘Lets Taco ‘Bout it’ bowl. Of course, after having a healthy meal what’s one or two little desserts; such as the ‘Cake Batter Krispies,’ ‘Salted Caramel Brownies,’ ‘Molten Lava Cake’ and the numerous flavours of ‘Cake-In-A-Teacup.’ (Ok, so maybe several desserts) There’s so many gorgeous things to try and so little time, I recommend repeat visits or their take away beach baskets.
As if the experience itself wasn’t enough, there is even a gift shop where you can buy quirky, trendy items and always have a reminder of Tania’s Teahouse. From their ‘Habib-tea’ t-shirts and floppy sun hats to their floral notebooks and small bits and bobs.
The quirky teahouse fits right into the London scene and we can only hope to see Tania’s Teahouse in Lon don in the near future at least.
