The aesthetic is centred around a ‘laid-back Californian cool’ making it the perfect escape from London’s cold and gloomy streets. The concept not only focuses on the millennial’s favourite superfood, but they use the avocado as a versatile staple in all of their dishes in inventive and wonderful ways.
Their healthy and delicious options are split into two menus; a Day and an Evening menu.
The Day menu is filled with breath-taking gems such as the to die for ‘Eggs Benny Toast’ or their ‘acai smoothie bowl’ which deserves numerous repeat visits.
If that’s not enough to get you racing to Covent Garden, then these desserts will. I was hesitant about the ‘Avo Cheesecake’ but it was ‘avo-mazing,’ the texture was creamy and a melt in your mouth delight.
The Evening menu holds a whole new list of delights, but my favourite had to be the fun and quirky; Avo-bun burger. An avocado bun with a sweet potato and red lentil patty. This healthy option offers a light and flavourful adaptation to the well-beloved burger.
Of course, the experience is not complete without a little shopping. Take a look at some of the ‘avo-fanatic’ gifts; ranging from tote bags, to t-shirts, to candles and chocolate.
Take a peak in at 23-24 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden to have the avo-this-world experience.
