top spots to grab a gin cocktail in london.

Now that the warm weather is upon us we took the chance to express our love of gin by compiling the best places to find a refreshing gin cocktail. We have searched far and wide to create our list so you don’t have to!

Experimental Cocktail Club

Where: 13a Gerrard St, W1D 5PS

Price: £££

Opening times: 6pm - 2am

Best feature: The door!

For more: visit the Experimental Cocktail Club website

ECC (Experimental Cocktail Club) is what at first seems like an easy-to-miss black door in Chinatowns Gerrard street, a beautiful speakeasy style bar in the middle of Soho. Try their Saint Germain des Prés - spicy and cucumbery or one of my all time favourites Spring To It - light, fruity and floral. Their drinks range from £11-200 for their ‘vintage’ cocktails.

Azteca Chelsea

Where: 329 King's Rd, Chelsea, SW3 5ES

Price: £

Opening times: 1.30pm - 12.30am

Best feature: The Mexican decor!

For more: visit the Azteca Chelsea website

Azteca is the younger, more vibrant cousin of your average Chelsea bar - Drinks are usually tequila or rum based but gin cocktails such as Stamford Bridge Punch or Monarch (£10/8.5) go down a treat in this balmy weather.

Simmons Bar

Where: X 14 locations across London

Simmons lands somewhere on the other end of the spectrum. It's perfect for post work/pre theatre drinks, especially when you hit up during their happy hour for a £2.5 g&t!

Happiness Forgets

Where: 8-9 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6NU

This Shorditch bar has the strap-line ‘Great Cocktails, No Wallies!’ Situated in a former basement, enhanced by candlelight and with 40s/50s jazz/pop fusion - it promises excellent cocktails with great company.
